Externally Set Assignments for Unit 2 and Unit 4 available on Edexcel website.	First week in January 2007	These will be posted as secure content. You will need a username and password to access them.
Externally Set Assignments and instructions for Unit 2 and Unit 4 despatched to centres.	January/February 2007	If these are not received by mid-February, please contact the Edexcel Entries & Certification Centre (ECC) to check your estimated entry information.
Actual entries	Due by 21 March 2007	If estimated entries have not been received previously, the allocation of a visiting moderator may be delayed.
Application form for Centre Consortium Arrangements for Centre-assessed Work submitted.	Due by 28 February 2007	If the form is not received prior to this date, different moderators may be allocated to the consortium centres.
OPTEMS despatched to centres.	April 2007	A full despatch schedule will be available on the Edexcel website during March.
Visiting moderators make contact with centres.	March/April 2007	Moderators will make direct contact with centres to arrange the date and time of their visit.
Marking of work, completion of assessment documentation and return of the top copy of OPTEMS/marks to Edexcel.	Before the moderation visit (or by 3 June 2007 if work is to be moderated at Edexcel)	A final mark for each candidate, for each unit, must be submitted to Edexcel on the OPTEMS / via Edexcel Online / via EDI.
Moderation period	9 May - 1 July 2007	Only the work of those candidates in the moderation sample (indicated by an asterisk on the OPTEMS plus the highest and lowest candidates) should be presented for moderation. However, all work should be made available.
Receipt of work to be moderated at Edexcel.	3 June 2007
Retention of work	Until 20 September 2007	All sampled candidates' work must be retained by the centre until the deadline for requests for Enquiries About Results (EARs) has passed. Requests for EARs cannot be accepted if work for all candidates in the sample has not been retained by the centre.
